The Kaluki card game is played with 2-4 games a single 51 deck of card and jokers are also played in the game unlike other versions of the rummy game.
Each player is dealt 13 cards and the goal of the players is to be the first to get rid of all the cards in the hand by arranging them in forms of set and run series.
A set is a series of cards sharing the same value of card but different shape.
A run is a series of cards with the same shape but the value of running for example hearts shaped 4,5,6,7 series.
Once the player arranged his cards in series he has to meld them on the table and reveal his cards to the other players.
In the player’s turn he has to both draw a card, either from the main deck pile or from the discard pile, and to discard a card to the discard pile - usually a card the player don’t need and doesn’t fit to any of his series.
a set and a run are a 3 and more cards no less.
The jokers in the kaluki game function as any card and so it helps the player in the game. The Joker is in fact the strongest card in the game and there are better chances for a player with a joker to win the game.
